Bulbs Perennials
65Garden Flowers
Frequent bulbs, particularly summer flowering bulbs, is not winter hearty in colder regions where they are planted by gardeners. If they are not dug up, they breathe one“s last. They are treated by gardeners in these regions as annuals, however in a warmer climate or during a mild winter, they would be perennials.
By definition a bulb is any kind of plant that stores is complete life cycle on an underground storage structure. The primary objective of these bulbs (underground storage structures) is to detain sufficient nutrient reserves that will permit the survival of the plant. With this system, the plant has the ability to survive and restart the life cycle year after year. The majority of information sources disclose us that the flower bulbs are perennial. We can't think of any good examples of an annual bulb, perhaps climates that lend to these bulbs blooming just once and then drying down completely. Because of that, the majority of the expert opinions is that all bulbs are classified as perennials (bulbs perennials), since they have the ability and structure for that. There are exceptions of course, some of them are not competent to fulfill this life cycle because of climates and other factors.
One good example is the Daffodils, that come from Hollan, but you can find them all over the world where they can sustain life they don't duplicate as normal plants, but they live, produce and go dormant in extreme weather, only to revive in more temperate times, they are an extremely hardy vegetable.
You need to know that all flower bulbs are designed by nature to be perennials. That's the real point of a bulb, they are like food storage organs for dormant plants.
